Recipe:

SHERRY’S STEAK RUB

This rub will make your steaks taste like Restaurant Quality Heavy Peppered Beef

Lay your steak on a tray. Pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle extra virgin olive oil on top and bottom. Add a layer of Sherry’s Steak Rub, light, medium or heavy depending on how peppery you like it. Pat the rub into your steak. Leave your steak out on the counter top at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes before you put on grill.

You need a hot grill, with the coals close to the grill rack. Sear your steak on both sides, putting grill marks on steak. While searing your steaks you can turn them a quarter of a turn to make an X on your steak. Be careful not to burn your seasonings. Cook to your liking. I go by feel. Using my tongs to press on the steak, soft is rare, hard is well done. Remember to never put a hole in the steak while it is cooking, as a lot of the juice will run out. When you pull your steak, put it on a clean tray.

Do Not cut into the steak for 5 to 10 Minutes

This allows the juice to redistribute throughout the meat

I bought this blend recently and tried it on my rib eye steaks.  It tasted like it came straight from a steak house.  So good!
